Since I started my university studies, I have known that I want to do postgraduate studies, because this days, to apply for a good job, it's no longer enough to have a university degree, is necessary to specialize and continue studying.
I know that I want to continue studying after finishing the degree, but the question is: what to study? In Chile there are many options, like Master in food science or PhD in nutrition and food in the University of Chile, there are also programs in other universities.
One of the plans offered is the Master in environmental management and planning. It's an interfaculty program, that's mean that student can apply from different careers. I think it is a very interesting Master, since it allows studying, from the perspective of a food engineer, the impacts that the food industry causes on the environment.
I would like to have the option to do my studies abroad, maybe in Spain (they have good programs) or another country in Europe. But I don't know if I would go to do a Master or Phd abroad, but I would do a Diploma, that doesn't take so long, and if it's a part-time course, it would be perfect, because that allows me to know the country where I go.
And if it were not possible to do a course abroad, I would try it in a different region and in a different university, perhaps in the Catholic University of Valparaiso or in the University of La Serena, to have a different experience.
Spain it's a great country for to continue studying!
